Between owners Dale and Matt Manus, M1 Roofing Group brings over 35 years of combined residential and commercial roofing experience to every project, focused entirely on replacements and new installations, along with credentials you don't often find in a roofing company.
Dale and Matt Manus are a father-son duo originally from the Monroe and Indian Trail area. M1 Roofing Group was founded on three principles that haven't changed since day one: Honesty. Quality. Dependability.
Between a Licensed Professional Engineer, a Licensed General Contractor, and a former NC Building Code Official, M1 brings a depth of structural and construction knowledge that most roofing companies simply can't offer. That means better assessments, more accurate estimates, and installations that are done right — the first time.
25+ years in construction. NC Licensed General Contractor. Former NC Building Code Official. Extensive PM experience on large-scale residential builds. Indian Trail native.
BS + MS Civil / Structural Engineering, UNC Charlotte. Licensed Professional Engineer (NC & SC). Structural design engineering experience with nuclear utilities (Duke Energy, Exelon, TVA). International PM experience (Melbourne, AU).
Matt holds BS and MS degrees in Civil / Structural Engineering from UNC Charlotte and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in North Carolina and South Carolina. How many roofing companies can say that? It means every assessment is backed by real structural expertise.
